Pools & Voting ✅⛔

Your Guide to Pools on Starter

Pool Basics

Pools are created when developers submit their projects for START token holders to Vote on whether they will be allowed to proceed as presales on the Starter platform. All of the important information that investors need to know is readily available when looking at each Pool. The terms of the presales are all clearly laid out along with relevant links to the project's website, social media accounts, and contract addresses. Copies of any approved audits on the project are also provided.

Definitions of Pool Details

  • SoftCap: The minimum amount of BNB that must be raised for the presale to be successful.
  • HardCap: The maximum amount of BNB that can be raised and will trigger the end of the sale.
  • Min Per Wallet: The minimum amount of BNB each investor may contribute to the presale.
  • Max Per Wallet: The maximum amount of BNB each investor may contribute to the presale.
  • Presale Rate: The cost in BNB for each token purchased in the presale.
  • PancakeSwap Listing Rate: The token price in BNB that will be set when the liquidity is allocated to the PancakeSwap Exchange.
  • Liquidity Allocation: The percentage of the raised funds that will be used for the liquidity listing.
  • Liquidity Lock Duration: The number of days the allocated liquidity will be locked.
  • Open Time: Start time of the presale (all time zones are based on your device's local time).
  • Close Time: End time of the presale unless the HardCap is reached first.
  • Listing Time: The time when the PancakeSwap liquidity will be added and locked

Voting on Pools

Starter community members that Stake at least 50 START tokens will be eligible to Vote "Yes" or "No" on whether a Pool will proceed with the presale. Your voting weight is equal to the amount of START tokens you have staked. In order to proceed with the presale, a Pool must receive a net amount of "Yes" votes equal to 10% of the maximum supply of START tokens.
Example Voting Results:
  • Max Supply = 1,000,000 START (10% = 100,000)
  • Pool receives 500,000 "Yes" votes and 300,000 "No" votes
  • 500,000 - 300,000 = 200,000 net "Yes" votes
  • 200,000 > 100,000 ==> Pool proceeds with the presale!

Participating in Pool Presales

Starter community members that Stake at least 50 START tokens will be eligible to participate in approved presale pools.
  • When the Open Time is reached, the Buy button will be activated on the Pool and investors may purchase presale tokens with BNB.
    • The first two hours of every presale is reserved for Gold Tier community members.
  • At the end of the sale, the Claim Tokens button will be activated to allow investors to receive the tokens they have purchased.
  • In the event that the SoftCap is not reached before the Close Time, any investors that contributed to the presale may claim their BNB by clicking the Claim Tokens button.

Guaranteed Allocation

Developers have the option of setting their Pools to use either the Guaranteed Allocation model or a simple first-come first-serve model.
Pool presale participation for the Guaranteed Allocation model is broken down into two tiers based on the number of START you have staked on Starter.
Gold Tier is reached by staking 500 or more START tokens. These investors will receive a Guaranteed Allocation for the first two hours of every presale on the platform. The amount of each Gold Tier investor's allocation will be equal to their percentage of START tokens staked relative to the total amount of START staked on the platform.
Standard Tier is achieved by staking between 50 - 499 START tokens. These investors will be allowed to invest after the two hour Guaranteed Allocation period on a first-come first-serve basis.
The infographic below gives a breakdown of how this allocation model works for investors.
